Royal Improvements Inc. is a licensed New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor serving Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, New Jersey. We offer a wide range of residential and commercial painting and renovation services. Since 1989 we have successfully completed several thousand interior and several thousand exterior painting jobs on both old and new buildings. We are committed to providing professional service and workmanship together with the ability to complete projects on time. The majority of our services are performed in house, with the exception of plumbing and electrical services (for basement and bathroom remodels), they are performed by licensed plumbing and electrical contractors who have been working along side us for over two decades. We only use skilled craftsmen, our painters have many years of experience. Some of our employees qualifications include NJ DEP and HUD certification for lead safe work practices.
Power Washing
An easy way to keep your property in top condition is to have it power washed.
Our process removes dirt, grime, flaking, cracked or bubbled paint, mold, mildew, algae, cob-webs, spider webs,wasps nests, and anything else that could cause problems, we are highly experienced in power washing all types of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. We offer both hot and cold water power washing services.
The industrial pressure washers we use are gas powered, generate up to 4000 PSI and the water flow of up to 3 gallons per minute.The use of excessive pressure when power washing can cause damage, different materials require different amounts of pressure.
Our workers are extremely experienced in power washing all surfaces, operating our equipment and are familiar with the correct pressure to use on each material. Surfaces that can benefit from our power washing services include; Wood siding Wood roofs Aluminum and steel siding Vinyl siding Fences Sheds Gutters Decks Patios Driveways (with optional sealing) Sidewalks Quite often prior to exterior preparation for painting of wood siding, aluminium and steel siding, stone walls, fences, and decks, we power wash surfaces to remove dirt and grime, flaking, cracked or bubbled paint, cob-webs, spider webs,wasps nests, and anything else that could cause problems.
We also remove mold, mildew and algae. The pressure of the washer will knock off some of the failing paint, this will create paint debris, most of this will be cleaned up on the first day, any remaining paint debris will be cleaned upon job completion.
Our power washers spray a high powered jet of water, and water will enter the house through any open windows, or windows that do not seal well. Please inform the crew manager and/or paint crew of any areas where water may enter the house. Power washing can leave windows streaky so it is best to have the windows cleaned after the house is pressure washed, and painted, not just prior.
